Personally don't mind Blair.
Odd that he was one of Her Majesty's personal choices. Thought she always hated him more than most......begs the question 'what does he know?'.
Although most PMs get it if they're still alive two decades after their stint.

Seriously though, I think most people just ignore these awards nowadays. They are worthless in the main and niw mostly ego boosters for those without humility. I noticed today on the BBC and Sky News when talking about the honours not one mention of Tony Blair. Absolutely nothing even stating he got a knighthood. Now tonight watching sky news press review the papers don't even mention him on the front pages.
Scandalously ignoring the majority public saying he is a war criminal killing millions of Iraqis because of falsifing intelligence to say Saddam had weapons of mass destruction.
A Total Disgrace.
